  Really friendly reception. Everything we needed for a quiet, relaxing few days. Excellent bed, comfy pillows, blackout curtains, thick fluffy towels. Wonderful gardens and settings to sit and relax at the end of a day exploring. After, of course, a soak in the private hot tub. Lots to choose from at breakfast in convivial surroundings. Superb. We’ll be back. Thank you Jen.

  First of all Jen is a beautiful soul! Incredible service! The attention to detail and creating a space where guests feel comfortable is perfect! We spent the night in the cottage for our anniversary, it was peaceful, quiet, private and just amazing! Friendly and welcoming… easy going! I can’t wait to stay again and will be our regular for every trip to Kaikoura 🙏🏻 Ten ten recommend just wow!!

  ‘A very comfortable studio unit and the most gorgeous area! The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need and the gardens are spectacular!! So peaceful and perfectly maintained – what a pleasure. Jennifer is a dynamo and is always on hand to give advice and help. What a stunning host! It was a pleasure staying there’. ‘Jen, thanks for making us feel so welcome, for giving us a room with THE most amazing view ever and keeping the place so well. I lost my heart in your garden, though… It is paradise!’

  “The location was MAGNIFICENT. Towering mountains, beautiful countryside and a garden that we are still thinking about now. The garden was immaculate and full of colour …….. so good that it is on the annual Garden Trail. The breakfast was absolutely delicious – continental but with the bonus of warm home-baked wholemeal bread ……. fresh fruit …….tinned fruit and a great array of jams and spreads. Jen is an exceptional hostess …….. enthusiastic and energetic; helpful; welcoming and kind (she offered to post some items I had left behind). A remarkable lady we loved instantly. We have to mention Diesel, the dog, who is an adorable asset!”
